GEN Protocols

GEN Protocol Mixers are technical discussions focused on specific emerging and established protocols used in biotechnology research. The mixers will ideally include three or four participants from academia, industry or both who routinely use the protocol being discussed as part of their benchwork or are familiar with it. GEN Protocol Mixers will be recorded sessions where each member will discuss the specific applications, they use the protocol for, the merits and demerits of the protocol, followed by troubleshooting discussions or thoughts on modifications or improvements. The Mixers will create community engagement through polls on common or popular dos and don’ts related to the protocols’ execution and a Q&A session where the audience can ask participants specific questions or comment on the protocol.
